WORKING TO BRING AWARENESS TO MENSTRUAL OPPRESSION
AN UPDATE

The Leak Experience is happy to announce our partnership with Kailahun District Education Committee (KL.D.E.C) School, located in Buedu, in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone.

KL.D.E.C was founded by Kai Tongi in 1937 and serves as one of the main Primary Schools in the area.

WHY WE EXIST

The Leak Experience is not just dedicated to providing menstrual supplies to women and girls in underserved communities. We are also dedicated to the education and representation of these girls and women. We use menstruation as the red thread, in showing how human connectivity and commonality, can be an effective way to promote education and awareness. We believe education is an equalizer; and if offered without judgement and biases, education has the ability to empower and change the direction of future generations.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is simply this: To impact women around the globe, through the use of our life experiences, as an example to encourage self-empowerment. We are also very intentional, in our effort to promote the representation, of Black and Brown women and girls around the world. We understand, that due to the social structure of society, this group are often ignored and marginalized, making them susceptible to numerous social injustices.
